My Mom & Dad. They epitomize what a great team is all about. They are the two most selfless loving people in the entire world. They never lose a sense of who they are, where they come from, and how they can be a positive catalyst for all those around them. Words will never do them justice- meet them and you will know exactly what I am talking about. ** Pretty much two souls of AWESOMENESS :)))))

I believe "competition" in general brings out the best in people. Competition raises the standards and expectations of all- it forces us to grow as athletes, as instructors, and as individuals. What is NOT to love about competition? I love it ALL!!!! Karate competition- I love the entire process of it, and truthfully I LOVE winning...

Smile and have fun... Knowing that tournaments and medals do not define us as people- Just great opportunities...

| Advice for the youth athletes in karate? |
If you want something in life and or in karate prove it and work hard for it. Do not talk about it- be about it. No matter what, have FUN in what you choose to do- life is short always find ways to enjoy the ride...
