Live Broadcast of the US Open Finals
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, MARCH 19, 2010: USA Karate is pleased to announce that the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) has selected Echo Entertainment to broadcast the Finals of the 2010 USA Open Karate Championships to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 4th. The USA Open expects to have Karate teams from over 40 countries competing for top prizes worth over $14,000. Many current and former world champions may be among the competitors creating some very exciting matches.
The live video stream will be broadcast on the worldwide web during the finals of the competition on April 4th beginning at 6:00 pm Pacific time. Viewers can log on to
http://karate.teamusa.org/live.html to watch the action as it happens. The finalists will be competing in sparring and forms competition for the money awards.
