The Coaches Development Pipeline has been created to illustrate the process of becoming a U.S. National Team Coach.  Created in collaboration with other National Governing Bodies, this pipeline follows current trends in coaching education that are used to cultivate the talents of an elite level coach.

As the sport of karate continues to evolve, greater refinement of the Coaches Development Process is necessary for the United States to stay at the forefront of international standards.  Based on extensive research and development through the United States Olympic Committee, the Coaches Development Pipeline has emerged as a vehicle by which coaches can remain up-to-date with the latest developments in sport sciences for the karate arena.

Utilizing a comprehensive Coaches Certification Process, the Coaches Development Pipeline will standardize and professionalize the role of the karate coach involved with the National Governing Body.
