USA Karate Announces the Launch of our Enhanced Club Membership Structure

USA Karate is pleased to announce the launch of our enhanced Club Membership structure beginning May 1, 2026.
As the National Governing Body for karate in the United States, this updated structure is designed to strengthen club alignment nationwide, provide meaningful value to school owners, and reinforce programs committed to the long-term growth of our sport.
Clubs planning to participate in the 2026 USA Karate National Championships are strongly encouraged to review the information below and activate membership early to ensure access to all available event benefits.
Membership Tiers
Bronze Club Member – $200/year
For clubs seeking national recognition and official alignment with USA Karate. Benefits include club listing, joint logo use, and access to USA Karate-recognized rank certificates.
Silver Club Member – $500/year
Designed for serious clubs actively engaged in the national structure. Benefits include access to USA Karate’s Preferred Vendor list, insurance discounts through our preferred provider, event pre-registration pricing, one complimentary coach credential and one media credential for both the USA Open and National Championships, and a 10% discount on dan testing.
Gold Club Member – $750/year
Our premier leadership tier for competitive clubs that want to play an active role in shaping the future of USA Karate. Benefits include priority website placement, two complimentary coach credentials and two media credentials at both Signature Events, VIP lounge access, a 20% dan testing discount, and one seat on the Gold Club Council—an advisory body to the President and CEO.
2026 Pro-Rated Pricing (May 1 Launch)
Because the program launches mid-year, membership fees for 2026 are pro-rated based on the time remaining in the calendar year:
USA Karate
*Memberships purchased October 1 – December 31 includes the remainder of 2026 plus the full 2027 Membership Year.
Beginning January 1, 2027, full annual membership pricing will apply.
Signature Event Eligibility
To receive Silver or Gold event-specific benefits (coach credentials, media passes, and VIP access), membership must be active no later than 45 days prior to the start date of a Signature Event.
For the 2026 USA Karate National Championships (July 15, 2026), clubs must activate Silver or Gold membership no later than May 31, 2026 to receive complimentary coach credentials, media passes, and VIP access for that event.
Clubs activating membership after May 31, 2026 will not be eligible for these event benefits for the 2026 National Championships and will not receive those benefits until the 2027 event cycle.

- Reinforce SafeSport and professional standards
- Recognize leadership-level programs
- Build a sustainable foundation for the future of USA Karate
