Biggest Win. Why? *
I feel like every win is my biggest win and also, every loss is my biggest win. Why? Because you are always getting something in return. Every win brings happiness and assurance that you are doing something right and every loss brings experience and ignites a passion in you to train harder and do your best every time you step on the mat.
What do you love about competition? *
The adrenaline rush!!!! It's really like no other feeling and I can't explain it; I just love it!
Favorite way to relax? *
Sleeping!!!! The bed and dojo are my two homes. Everyone who knows me that you can drop me on a bed of nails and I'll probably fall asleep on it. It's definitely my favorite thing to do after karate. 😂😂😁
Where do you get your inspiration from? *
My karate instructors, Shihan Miguel Ochoa and Shihan Nubia Gonzalez. They are always by my side and supporting me along the way. They are champions themselves and they teach with so much passion and love. They make sure all their students not only know how to compete, but know KARATE as well. They keep the tradition in Martial Arts without stopping us from being competitive. I believe they make true martial artists out of their students because of their love for it. They're honestly the best and I am so blessed to have found my way to their dojo when I chose to start karate.
