    Who is your favorite superhero?
Who is your hero in real life? Why? *
My father and mother. I know that makes it two, but my parents left everything they had in Cuba to give me a better future. They sacrifice all their time and money on my karate program and my dad has dedicated his life to training me. They are both University graduates and have showed me that life is about being a better person and no new knowlege will ever do any harm.

Live every moment like if its the last moment of your life.
    Biggest Win. Why? *
My biggest win wasnt the top step of the podium but second place for two years in a row in the same divison in 18-20 -67kg. I had never made the team beofre 2013 and my first year i was able to medal in all 3 divisons i competed in. The most inspiring win was that of the finals team match vs venezuela. The bout is never over till you hear yame.
What do you love about competition? *
Im competitive at everything i do, but competion brings out a fire in me to able to fight for my country. I enjoy giving my family the joy of knowing that their work has paid off. Im just a reflection of their hard work.
    Favorite way to relax? *
I enjoy my life as a full time student at FIU pursuing a career in finance. Karate is work but school to me is my time to relax and what will let me make a change in peoples life after the competion years are over.
Where do you get your inspiration from? *
Karate competition as in any other sport only lasts so long. We can only do it for a period of our lives, and knowing that one day it will be over just makes me want to train and try that much more. Make the most out of it while it last.
