EVENT DETAILS:
UPDATE - Due to the recent cancellation of the Jr Pan American Games Qualification Tournament in Curacao in May 2021, the PKF has modified the qualification system for the Jr Pan American Games.
As a result, the United States has received quota spots to directly qualify athletes to the Jr Pan American Games. We will be qualifying 1 athlete to each of the following 7 categories:
Female -55kg Kumite
Female -61kg Kumite
Male -60kg Kumite
Male -67kg Kumite
Male -75kg Kumite
Male -84kg Kumite
Male +84kg Kumite
The process of determining the quota spots was based on the results from the 2019 Jr PKF Championship U21 divisions.
Registration is open on Tournament in a Box. We are updating the formal selection procedures which will take time to get through the approval process. They will be posted on the website once completed.
The top placing athlete in each Kumite division will compete at the Junior Pan American Games in Cali, Colombia September 9-19, 2021.

Must be between the ages of 18-20 on the day of the Junior Pan Am Games Qualifier (April 24, 2021). Note this is a change from the original date of May 30.
