Below are general membership frequently asked questions; for more information on specific membership types, please refer to the links on the left hand panel of this page.

- An Athlete Membership will allow you to compete.
- A Coach Membership will allow you to coach and compete.
- An Official Membership will allow you to officiate, coach, and compete.
Generally, if you cannot log in to your membership account it is because you have not enabled the cookies on your internet browser. You can change this in the browser preferences or you can try using a different internet browser and typing in the link usankf.sport80.com directly. If you are still unable to access your account, please send an email tonatoffice@usankf.org.
To link multiple memberships, use the same email address for each membership as used to create your account. Once you are logged in, you will see all of the membership numbers of athletes associated with your account.
All memberships are valid through December 31st of the year in which they were purchased.
We are upgrading our membership system this year and after the migration the membership cards will be available online as digital membership cards.
USANKF patches are required for all athletes who compete and USA Karate signature events. You can buy patches for $10 each on-site at our signature events or through your membership account at www.usakaratemembership.com.
As a condition of membership with USA Karate, all coaches and officials are required to have a valid background check and SafeSport training on file. Additionally, all athletes over the age of 18 are also required to take the SafeSport course. Background checks need to be renewed every two years, and SafeSport training needs to be retaken annually.
