John Dussliere Joins USA Karate as a High Performance Programs Consultant

USANKF is excited to welcome John Dussliere to our Team as a High Performance Programs Consultant.
Coach John Dussliere has a myriad of experience in his career, spanning a variety of sports, including coaching all the way to the US Olympic Team in open water swimming! In addition, John has coached the US Invictus Team while serving our Nations Wounded Warriors as the Air Force Warriors Head Coach. Beginning his career, Coach John spent 6 years at Stanford University as a volunteer assistant coach where the Team won 5 NCAA Team Championships. Since, he has served as Associate Head Coach of the legendary Mission Viejo Nadadores, and Head Coach of the Santa Barbara Swim Club where he developed America’s first 10k Open Water Marathon Olympian. After retiring from coaching full-time, Coach John gave a year to USA Boxing as the Sport Director where his Team lead the reconstruction of the “ring-side” of the sport. While there, coach education/certification, as well as a resident training team were established.
John is a world recognized expert in building high performance sport support programs, and we are excited to have him work with our National Team Coaching staff to continue our effort to provide the best training resources and environments for all our athletes.
