I started karate when I was 6 years old. ...This is my fifth consecutive year on the Junior National Team. First year: 12-13 Female Kumite +45kg. Second Year: 14-15 Female Kumite +54kg. Third Year: 14-15 Female Kumite -54kg. Fourth & Fifth Year: 16-17 Female Kumite -53kg....My hero in real life is Jesus Christ because He is the perfect example of how I wish to live my life. He also inspires me to believe that I can achieve my dreams....My biggest win goes between winning a bronze medal at the Junior Pan American Championships and winning a silver medal at a K1 Youth League. However, I'd have to say winning the silver medal at a youth league had a lot more meaning for me. It was a tough competition with many athletes in my category. After winning my first two rounds against top athletes from South America, I faced the Vice-World Champion, (currently ranked number 1 in the World) in the semi-final. I won the match and made it to the finals! This moment meant so much to me because I had been working so hard and I finally felt like it was paying off!...I love competition because I get to test out what I've been practicing while representing the country I love most!...With a busy schedule, sometimes it's hard to find downtime; but when I have it, my favorite way to relax is by spending time with my friends and family....I get my inspiration from my parents and my friends who constantly support me and keep me in a positive atmosphere!..."You are your only limit"Career Highlights
