I have been doing karate ever since I was 9 years old....I love to eat salmon and pizza!...Before I go into the ring, I listen to motivational rock and alternative....My hidden talent is that I can read 250 words a minute with a 90% retention....This years Nationals was my biggest win by taking 2nd in Reno because it put me on the Junior US team and gave me the opportunity to represent my Country at international tournaments. Before that probably 2 years ago when I won a National Championship in the advanced division, my Sensei wouldn’t allow me to move into the elite division until I had won a National Championship....What I love most about competition is the opportunity to challenge myself and to grow in my sport, also the opportunity to meet new people and create new friendships....My mom and dad are my heroes because they have worked so hard and supported me in my goals of making the US team and have given me every opportunity to make it possible!..."You will never win if you never begin." -Helen Rowland
